President & CEO
Brian Ippolito has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Orbis Technologies, Inc. since 2006. Under his leadership, Orbis has established itself as an industry leading Global Content Management Software, Solutions and Services company that provides products and services around the world. With a client roster of Fortune 100 business, U.S. military and intelligence community organizations, federal agencies, and global publishers and media companies, Orbis has software deployed in over 50 cities in 12 countries on four continents around the globe.
Prior to Orbis, Mr. Ippolito was Director of Advanced Programs and Products, C4ISR and Networked Systems at Northrop Grumman, where he directed many advanced technology programs and business operations. His work at Northrop Grumman and at Orbis benefitted immensely from his time at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a researcher, where he published numerous papers and contributed to the book Lean Enterprise Value, Insights from MIT’s Lean Aerospace Initiative.
Mr. Ippolito served in the United States Air Force and has received numerous awards and recognition to include the prestigious John J. Welch Award for Acquisition Excellence and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Maryland.
Mr. Ippolito received a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management and the Graduate School of Engineering. He is currently serving on the Alumni Board for Illinois Institute of Technology.
Chief Operating Officer
Since 2010, Thuy has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Orbis Technologies. Prior to COO, she served as Vice President, Executive Director of Strategic Technology and Services, providing direction to Orbis’ business unit. In that role, Thuy was instrumental in establishing Orbis as a leading provider of cloud computing technology services.
Thuy holds a unique and diverse background in biomedical engineering (BS degree from Case Western University College), financial management (MS degree from University of Maryland University College), and contracts management at a variety of companies, such as Science Applications International Corporation, Peace Corps, and Northrup Grumman. She was a finalist for the Corporate Private Sector Small Business Award by Women in Technology in 2012.
Chief Financial Officer
Matt has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Orbis Technologies since 2012. He brings more than 20 years of experience in business management, mergers, acquisition and corporate finance. Matt served as Chief Financial Officer for the New Jersey Region of Ryan Homes, a division of NVR, Inc., one of the largest homebuilders in the nation with over $3 billion in annual revenue. There he developed the company’s business operating plan for the New Jersey region, with average revenue of over $100 million. Prior to NVR, Matt worked for Visteon Corporation, the third largest automotive supplier in the world with $11 billion in annual revenues and 80 manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Matt has served in the United States Navy as Surface Warfare Officer within the Combat Systems Department. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Corporate Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Consulting Services
Barry joined Orbis Technologies in March 2017 as part of Orbis’ merger with RSI Content Solutions. As Corporate Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Consulting Services, he is responsible for managing a global software and services sales team, account management of global accounts on four continents, and all marketing related activities.
As a co-founder of RSI, Barry led the transformation of the company over a 17-year period from a technology consulting firm to a software developer while increasing revenue an average of 20% a year. Before RSI Content Solutions, Barry held executive positions in account and project management at Reed Technology and Information Services (a division of Reed Elsevier). Barry began his career in information technology as a Senior Systems Engineer working at GE Aerospace for a decade on several classified programs serving intelligence and military organizations.
Barry has been the recipient of several project management and business management awards including being inducted into the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame in 2011. He holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from St. Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in electronics from Millersville University. Barry has participated on several industry association boards and committees including the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) Content Division, ASIDIC (now part of the National Federation of Advanced Information Services), and the Society for Scholarly Publishing.
Corporate Executive Vice President, Content Management Software
Lisa joined Orbis Technologies in March 2017 as part of Orbis’ merger with RSI Content Solutions. As Corporate Executive Vice President, Content Management Software, she is responsible for leading the global RSuite Enterprise Information Platform product development team to successfully meet client and market demands, overall product strategy, and provide global sales team solution support in prospect pursuits.
As a co-founder of RSI Content Solutions, Lisa had primary responsibility for the RSuite product vision and engineering, sales support, and working directly with clients to successfully implement the RSuite software. Prior to RSI, Lisa was the Director, Content Management Systems at Reed Technology and Information Services (a division of Reed Elsevier). She started her career in technical publishing having worked at Valley Forge Publishing Services as a consult to automotive accounts throughout the world.
Lisa is a recognized industry professional and an expert in the design of XML-based content management systems. She is the recipient of several industry awards including Top IT Innovator Award in 2014 from the Philadelphia Business Journal. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Miami. A frequent speaker at industry meetings, Lisa has participated on association committees and boards including most recently being a director and chairman of IDEAlliance.
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Development
Jeff joined Orbis Technologies in March 2017 as part of Orbis’ merger with RSI Content Solutions. As Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business Development, he is responsible for global commercial enterprise sales focused on healthcare, life sciences, financial services and government/public sector.
Jeff joined RSI in 2001, initially as a senior consultant working with a global STM publisher to develop and implement new XML-based publishing processes. Since then, Jeff has consulted with many other publishers and has served in a variety of management roles within RSI, helping to grow the company from a niche consulting firm to a leader in publishing solutions. Prior to RSI, Jeff served as director of a medical publishing company and as chief technology officer for an information and media startup.
Jeff holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from LaSalle University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Pennsylvania State University.
Vice President, Operations
Steve joined Orbis Technologies in March 2017 as part of Orbis’ merger with RSI Content Solutions. As Vice President, Operations, he is responsible for leading the professional services team to successfully implement software solutions, resource allocation, contract, vendor, and facility management.
Steve joined RSI in 2011 as Vice President, Operations. Prior to RSI, he was Vice President of Operations for Thomas Technology Solutions (previously Reed Technology and Information Services). Steve began his career with Unisys and rose through the organization to the level of Director, Materials for Personal Computers.
